But gradually… Or was it suddenly? Trico became all dear to me. His looks that once scared me now simply adorable. Trico, who is afraid of deep water, who’s scared of the eye ornament, yet gathers his courage and comes jumping to rescue me when I’m caught. He jumps with joy after having his favorite snack. When I came to senses after I collapsed at the antenna room, he also jumped for me. Lovely, sweet thing, Trico.
When you have a strong bond between you and your friend, how s/he’s look doesn’t matter. I wonder if Trico was born that way; scary at first glance, to let the players live through this priceless experience.
Now even the beast with the broken mask at the first scene looks just pretty as he hisses at me approaching. The more I play, the more attached I get to the lovely beast. Once and every while I go back to the dark nest, to spend quality time with my Trico. It never fades out because Trico’s reaction’s not totally predictable.
I even suspect the more you play, I mean, from the beginning to the end, the bond gets strengthened. I suspect that because he never tried to cuddle with me at the antenna rooms, or after we reached the white tower. Now he does, virtually everywhere and at every occasion. Hey, as I write this, I’m already itching to pet his gigantic beak! See ya!
